热保护器是全封闭制冷压缩机必备的安全保护装置。当压缩机启动器失灵、电源突然断电又很快来电(包括电源插座接触不良)、电源电压过高或过低、热负荷过大及制冷剂泄漏引起压缩机长期工作等导致压缩机过电流或过热时,热保护器必须可靠地切断电源。否则压缩机易被烧毁。目前国内外制冷压缩机上使用的双金属片热保护器,由于缺乏自保功能,保护时间仅2—3分钟,充其量不过使压缩机延缓损坏,从大量维修实践来看,压缩机的损坏不是保护器没动作,而是在保护器频繁动作中烧毁的。 下面介绍双金属片热保护器的构造、原理以及不足。如图1所示。普通双金属片热保护器由电热丝①,双金属片②,触点③,绝缘外壳④,接线端子⑤、⑥,调节螺丝⑦构成。该装置紧贴压缩机表面安装,工作时电流从接线端
