“时间机器”设想能够开启新的历史思考,然而对于人类来说,要通过这种方式来复原历史真相以揭开“克里奥之谜”则是不可能的,同时也没必要。但我们通过对这一问题的探讨能够认识到,人们对“历史真相”的认识存在着一种逻辑思维的颠倒:历史自身发生的逻辑表现的是一种“概率”性的选择而非某种“规律”的必然,而人们在现实中则习惯从历史发生的事实结果上去追索产生这种结果的原因和条件。这使得人们忽视了对从起点发生的其他可能性结果加以重视的意义。
