全国小麦辐射育种协作会于1984年8月22日至28日在乌鲁木齐召开。会议进行了学术经济交流,总结了协作研究的成就。一、突变品种的育成和扩大应用据最近不完全统计,育成并生产应用的突变品种共46个。其中种植面积在100万亩以上的13个,占1966年以来全国小麦育成品种的15%。目前生产应用的突变品种32个,面积达3000万亩,超过1981年(1350万亩)一倍多。新育成品种种植面积迅速扩大。例如,“山农辐63”由1981年的180万亩猛增到1670余万亩,“鄂麦9号”由30万亩扩大到250万亩。
