我省初等学校优秀教师代表会议，于1月20日至24日在合肥市召开。出席会议的是由各市、县从全省五千多个优秀小学教师、幼儿教养员、业余职工学校教师中推选出来的代表，共七百一十一人（实到六百八十一人）。其中有教龄在四十年以上的六十岁老教师，也有教龄只两年半才十六岁的青年教师；有不避艰险、坚持灾区教育、山区办学和勤俭建校的教师，也有刻苦钻研、自学提高的五个孩子的妈妈，荣誉军人和复员军人；有在教育教学工作各方面创造优秀事例和经验的校长和教师；也有优秀的少先队辅导员，还有盲哑学校的教师。
The representative meeting of outstanding teachers of junior schools in our province was held in Hefei City from January 20th to 24th. The meeting was attended by representatives from all provinces and counties from among the province’s more than 5,000 outstanding primary school teachers, child care workers, and amateur workers’ school teachers. A total of 711 people (actually 681 people) were selected. . Among them are sixty-year-old teachers with a teaching age of more than 40 years, and young teachers with a teaching age of only two-and-a-half years and only sixteen-year-olds; teachers who do not avoid hardships, persist in education in the disaster areas, run schools in the mountains, and establish diligent schools, but also study assiduously. The mothers of the five children who have self-educated themselves, honorary servicemen and demobilized soldiers; principals and teachers who have created outstanding examples and experiences in all aspects of education and teaching work; there are also outstanding Young Pioneers counselors and blind and deaf school teachers.
