依靠农业社修理校舍凤台县侯庙小学是本期新发展的完小。由于夏季遭受水灾，校具缺乏，六间教室的后墙被水冲坏，开学前，该校教师主动找农业社主任徐凤轩、文教委员花石溪商量，当即得到他们的支持，由社内出工出料，帮助学校修理，计用一百三十四个人工，一千二百斤麦糠，又借给学校十五元作漆黑板和买石灰用。这样，不但六间将倒的教室修理好了，而且又盖了一间小厨房。另外，农业社又借给三间民房，解决了增班的困难。（刘冠沛）
