苯酚为无色针状结晶,需制成3%~5%溶液才能作消毒剂。制作法是将500g 瓶装苯酚加入50ml 蒸馏水,去盖后将瓶子的1/2浸泡于常水中,置于铝锅内在电炉上煮沸加热。苯酚溶点是39~42℃,沸点是180~182℃。笔者在制作液化酚过程中,因未发现瓶子有裂缝,一经加热使瓶子破裂,少量苯酚液溅到电炉上燃烧,锅内苯酚液亦燃烧,经停电灭火,才避免一场火灾。因此在制作液化酚前要检查玻璃瓶是否有裂缝,制备人员不能离开现场。
Phenol as a colorless needle-like crystals, need to be made of 3% to 5% solution for disinfectants. The production method is to add 500g bottles of phenol to 50ml of distilled water, to cover the bottle after soaking 1/2 in the water, placed in an aluminum pan boiled in the electric heating. Phenol melting point is 39 ~ 42 ℃, the boiling point is 180 ~ 182 ℃. In the process of making liquefied phenol, we found no cracks in the bottle. Once heated, the bottle ruptured. A small amount of phenol solution was splashed onto the electric furnace for burning. The phenol solution in the pot also burned. After a power outage, only a fire was avoided. Therefore, in the production of liquefied phenol to check whether there are cracks in the glass, preparation staff can not leave the scene.
