Objective To explore the correlation between driver occupation and male semen quality in Urumqi. Methods The WLJY-9000 sperm quality test system was used in 157 infertile men (driver group, 72 cases, non-driver group, 85 cases) and 125 normal fertile male sperm from the semen volume, liquefaction time, total number of sperm, sperm density, Percentage, b grade sperm percentage, a + b grade sperm percentage, sperm motility and other aspects of the analysis. Results (1) Compared with normal control group, the number of sperm, sperm density, sperm motility, sperm motility and other parameters of infertile driver group and infertility non-driver group were significantly decreased (P <0.05-0.01) and liquefaction time prolonged (P < 0.05). (2) Compared with infertility driver group, semen volume, sperm motility and sperm motility were significantly decreased in infertile driver group (P <0.05 ~ 0.01). (3) Compared with infertility non-driver group, the percentage of a grade sperm, a + b grade sperm percentage and sperm motility were significantly decreased (P <0.05-0.01). In addition, semen volume was significantly lower (P <0.01) and liquefaction time was longer (> 0.05) in the> 10-year group compared to the infertile non-driver group. (4) There was a significant difference (P <0.05 ~ 0.01) in the parameters of a-b grade sperm percentage and sperm motility of 10-year group, 0-5 year- , While there was no significant difference between 0 ~ 5 years group and 6 ~ 10 years group (P> 0.05). (5) The b-grade sperm percentage, a + b grade sperm percentage and sperm motility were all significantly lower than those in the 10-year group (P <0.01). Conclusion (1) Driver occupation can cause abnormal sperm quality in men. (2) There is a time-effect relationship between car age and sperm quality. Driving over 10 years may be one of the causes of male infertility.
