新陆中29号杂交棉是新疆维吾尔自治区种子管理总站与新疆国家农作物原种场、新疆优质杂交棉公司于1998年以J95-8优系为母本,以11-6为父本进行配组杂交,经4年的组合观察,组合测定,最终于2002年选育成大铃、丰产、优质、抗病、广适的杂交棉花新品种。2006年通过新疆维吾尔自治区农作物品种委员会审定,审定编号:新审棉2006年65号。
