中学英语课文里有许多单词、短语和句型可以用来表示强调,根据所强调的成份,大致可分为以下几种句型结构。 1、形容词和副词的比较级前加。little、much、still、far、a great deal、even表示强调。 The guns sound still closer. Tom is a little taller than Peter. 2、疑问句在疑问代词或疑问副词后加ever,on earth,In the world,under the sun表示强调。 What on earth are you doing here? What in the world made him so angry? 3、动词前加助动词do表示强调。 Do have a glass of milk.
There are many words, phrases, and sentence patterns in high school English texts that can be used to express emphasis. According to the emphasis on the ingredients, they can be roughly divided into the following types of sentence structures. 1. Addition of adjectives and adverbs before comparison. The interrogative sentence is added after the interrogative pronoun or questioning adverb, ever, on earth, In the world, and under the sun. What in earth are you doing here?
