我们在过去相当长的一个时期内形成了一套从部分到整体的教法,即从字、词、句、段一环环教上去,最后再教篇章.这种教法运用得不好往往会把教程拉长,不适应新教材大阅读量的要求,同时会把一篇完整的课文肢解、割裂开来.其结果,在学生的头脑里留下的只是一堆杂乱芜章的词、句和孤立的写作方法,削弱讲读课教学的效果.学生学习了上百篇课文,只知寻章摘句,既不会读,又不会写,与高年级语文教学的要求相抵迕.
