众所周知,促红细胞生成素(erythropoietin,EPO)直接促红细胞生成作用已被很好地研究和广泛应用。新近研究报道:EPO可显著改善心力衰竭,具有广泛的心血管系统保护作用,其抑制细胞凋亡作用开辟了临床研究和治疗的新视野。EPO挽救急性冠脉综合征的损伤心肌、限制心肌梗死面积、促进心功能恢复只是其抑制细胞凋亡多种潜在作用之一。具有选择性抑制细胞凋亡作用的EPO衍生物可能具有极好的研究应用前景。在心力衰竭和缺血性心脏病领域,增加EPO作为常规治疗可能有益。现将EPO对心血管系统作用的研究作一综述。
It is well known that the direct erythropoietic effect of erythropoietin (EPO) has been well studied and widely used. Recent studies have reported: EPO can significantly improve heart failure, has a wide range of cardiovascular system protection, and its inhibition of apoptosis has opened up a new field of clinical research and treatment. EPO rescue acute coronary syndrome myocardial injury, limiting myocardial infarct size and promote cardiac function recovery is only one of its many potential effects of inhibiting apoptosis. EPO derivatives with selective inhibition of apoptosis may have an excellent prospect of research. In the field of heart failure and ischemic heart disease, adding EPO as a routine treatment may be beneficial. The EPO on the cardiovascular system is reviewed.
