Virtual reality is a computer technology that represents the future of stomatology. Virtual pylorus is a virtual reality application in oral prosthetics. It can significantly reduce the disadvantages of the mechanical plinth and analyze the static and dynamic occlusion during the mandibular movement by simulating the patient’s real data. These tools will help dentists and technicians provide personalized treatment to each patient. This article introduces the concept, type, development, advantages and disadvantages of the virtual racks, and strategies for replacing the mechanical racks with virtual racks in the future, as well as a brief description of the touch system for the virtual racks.
