Siemens Transportation Technologies (formerly MaK) provided 2 GI205 hydrodynamic diesel locomotives for the Swedish Banverket Railroad for a total value of 3 million marks. In addition, the railway company retained the preemptive rights of 10 locomotives. There are other European manufacturers participating in this tender.
