“远行的目的是走向自我”。——赛林格全球性的文化交换,基于一个紧密连接的共同体,以及内部不断扩大彼此差异的个体间的连接。这使得作为社会润滑剂的文化越来越呈现出一种分离而胶着的状态。随着世界经济格局的根本性变化,不同区域间价值和审美交换的增长,殖民时代的文化等级逐渐消失,艺术系统的纯粹性和单一性遭到质疑与拆分。如何重建一个共同体,以及如何在共同体和个体之间建立彼此共存的联系,成为今天正在接入世界艺术体系的亚洲艺术家所不可回避的问题。
“The purpose of traveling is to self ”. - Salinger’s global cultural exchange is based on a tightly connected community, as well as connections between individuals who are constantly expanding their differences. This makes the culture as a social lubricant more and more showing a state of separation and glue. With the fundamental changes in the world economic pattern, the increase in values and aesthetic exchanges among different regions, the cultural level in the colonial era has gradually disappeared and the purity and unity of the art system have been questioned and separated. How to rebuild a community and how to establish a coexistence between the community and individual should become an unavoidable issue for the Asian artists who are joining the world art system today.
