Ka波段大功率螺旋线行波管在雷达、电子对抗及通信等电子装备中发挥着日益重要的作用。本文初步设计了一种Ka波段1kW螺旋线脉冲行波管的高频结构。工作电压18.5kV、工作电流380mA,工作带宽6GHz功率1.1kW,电子效率15%,饱和增益40dB。针对大功率螺旋线行波管中极易出现的返波振荡现象,通过合理设计衰减器的大小和位置,螺旋线的尺寸分布,有效地抑制了返波振荡出现的概率。
Ka-band high-power helical traveling-wave tubes play an increasingly important role in electronic equipment such as radar, electronic warfare and communications. In this paper, a high-frequency structure of a 1kW spiral pulsed TWT was designed. Working voltage 18.5kV, working current 380mA, working bandwidth 6GHz 1.1kW power, electronic efficiency 15%, saturation gain 40dB. Aiming at the phenomenon of back-wave oscillation that appears easily in high-power helical traveling wave tube, the size of the attenuator and the size distribution of the helix are reasonably designed to effectively suppress the probability of back-wave oscillation.
