表现主义作为一种精神灌注 ,一直存在于从“五四”直到 40年代初的现代剧坛。导致剧作家接受认同表现主义的原因 ,是中国文学艺术自身发展的内在要求和东西方二种文化合流时相近的历史氛围 ,以及创作主体的审美个性等因素在共同起作用。同时 ,纷繁复杂的时代环境、社会思潮、文艺整体发展趋势等诸多方面的影响又注定了现代戏剧发展过程中在提倡表现主义方面的来龙去脉
Expressionism, as a spiritual infusion, has always existed in the modern theater from the May 4th Movement until the early 40s. The reason why the dramatist accepted the expressionism is the intrinsic requirement of Chinese literature and art’s own development and the similar historical atmosphere when the two cultures of east and west merge together, and the aesthetic personality of the main body of creation play a joint role. At the same time, many complicated influences such as times environment, social thoughts and trends in literature and art, and other aspects of the development of modern drama are doomed to the emergence of expressionism in the context of the development of modern drama
