英文LandscapeArchitecture是一个重要的专业术语,国内在对其理解和翻译上存在较大差异与分歧。本文在对该术语的产生、该专业的渊源、主要专业内容和实践等几方面分析的基础上,认为国内与西方LandscapeArchitecture相对应的应是园林专业,其相应的译名应为“园林学”,而不是“××建筑学”。 English LandscapeArchitecture is an important professional term. There are great differences and differences in understanding and translation in China. Based on the analysis of the term’s origin, its origins, major professional contents and practice, this article considers that the domestic and Western Landscape Architecture should correspond to the gardening profession, and its corresponding translation name should be “Landscape Studies”. Not “X Architecture”.
