我校是一所普通中学。我教初中两个班的语文课,其中初二(1)班在一九八三年,共有五十二人,留级生十二人,占了百分之二十三。开学初摸底检查,发现这班学生的语句组织,笔头表达和口头表达能力都很差。例如,第一次叫学生上讲台来介绍自己的性格、爱好、理想的时候,他们不是语无伦次,就是低头不语,甚至有的吓得哭起来。如今已经出现了学习语文的新局面。学生的写作水平有所提高,作文基本上能做到中心明确,前后一贯,语句通顺。去年市中学生作文竞赛中获一个三等奖。学生的口头表达能力提高更
Our school is an ordinary middle school. I taught Chinese classes for junior high school classes. Among them, there were 52 students in the primary two (1) class in 1983, and 12 repeaters, or 23%. At the beginning of the school year, they found out that the students’ sentence organization, writing skills, and verbal skills were all poor. For example, when students were first asked to introduce themselves to the podium to introduce their own personalities, hobbies, and ideals, they were not incoherent, they either bowed their heads or did not speak, and even some scared to cry.
