随着我国经济建设的快速发展，大型基础设施项目不断增加，对各种各样建筑材料的需求迅猛增长，作为基本建筑材料之一的砂石料需求量当然也不例外。在可持续发展战略的指引下，整个社会的环保意识和环境保护措施都在增强，从河道中摄取砂石料的这一传统作法已逐渐被机械破碎取代。特别是广大西部地区地处大江大河上游不仅可利用的天然资源少，环保任务又较其他地区繁重，采用机械破碎方法生产砂石料则显得尤为重要，加工砂石料的破碎机在我国有着广阔的市场空间。为此本刊特邀神户制钢的柿木宣比古先生以该公司的产品为例，对破碎机的应用作一简单介绍。
