In August 2010, the State Standardization Administration Commission approved the Shanghai Medical Insurance Affairs Management Center as the unit undertaking the “Standardization Pilot of Medical Insurance Services” project, and Putuo District and Baoshan District Medical Insurance Affairs Center as pilot units.
