多媒体电脑的性能要求是很高的,事实上已经扭转了传统的观点。个人计算机制造商一度认为家用电脑是商用电脑中较弱的一族,价格便宜,性能差。实际上家用电脑的需求比大多数商用电脑更难满足。与普通计算机程序相比,多媒体应用程序好比是奥林匹克,它将个人计算机的能力推到极限,很像体育竞赛为挖掘人类能力的极限而奋斗一样。
The performance requirements of multimedia computers are very high, and in fact the traditional view has been reversed.
