共产党员这个光荣的称号,从我第一天踏进革命队伍起,就给我带来了极深刻的印象。无数的事实告诉了我:‘共产党员是特殊材料制成的’,他们为了祖国和人民的利益不怕牺牲自己的一切,从这时起,我就下定了决心,使自己成为一个像共产党员那样的人,像他们那样艰苦顽强,像他们那样具有高尚的无产阶级的道德品质,像他们那样对祖国对人民无限忠诚。从这时起共产党员的光辉形象就不断的鼓舞着我。这样,当我还只17岁的时候,我就向党表示了自己的理想与愿望,向党递了申请书。

Since then, the glorious image of communists has constantly encouraged me. In this way, when I was only 17 years old, I expressed my ideal and aspiration to the party and handed the party an application.
