世纪之交,国际政治经济形势急剧变化。当前国际形势变化的显著特点是,旧的格局已被打破,新的格局尚未形成,世界进入新旧格局交替、动荡不定的过渡时期。90年代国际形势发展有进一步缓和的一面,但动荡不安的情况依旧,新的冲突不断,南北矛盾更为突出,引起国际社会的严重关注。
At the turn of the century, the international political and economic situation has dramatically changed. The notable feature of the current changes in the international situation is that the old pattern has been broken and the new pattern has not yet taken shape. The world has entered a period of alternating old and new patterns of turbulent transition. In the 1990s, the development of the international situation has been further alleviated. However, the situation of turmoil remains the same. New conflicts are constantly emerging and the contradictions between the two Koreas are more prominent, arousing serious concern from the international community.
