本文主要介绍碳势的合理描述以及用“称重法”代替“气体容量法”测定碳势,这是我们于1977年开始试用的方法,现已推广使用。一、碳势是可控气氛特性指标某种可控气氛于一定温度时与之平衡对应的钢材表面含碳量,有着重要的意义。它反映了混合气体的化学势能及其变化趋势。对利用可控气氛渗碳而言,碳势就是描述混合气体化学渗碳的势能。一些文献的技术报告中没有对碳势作出明确的定义,甚至无意中将碳势与钢材表面含碳百分率等同起来,把固相与气相平衡时的钢材表面含碳量直接描述为气相化学势能
This article mainly introduces the reasonable description of carbon potential and the determination of carbon potential by using “weighing method ” instead of “gas capacity method ”. This is the method we started trial in 1977 and is now being promoted. First, the carbon potential is a controlled atmosphere characteristic index A controlled atmosphere at a certain temperature and the corresponding balance of the carbon content of the surface of steel, has an important significance. It reflects the mixed gas chemical potential and its changing trend. For controllable atmosphere carburizing, the carbon potential is the potential energy describing chemical carburizing of the mixed gas. Some literature technical report does not have a clear definition of carbon potential, and even unintentionally carbon potential and the carbon content of steel surface equal to the same, the solid phase and vapor phase of the steel surface carbon content directly described as the gas phase chemical potential
