在综述了隐喻能力培养及其与英语各项分技能的相关性研究后,研究测试了英语专业大三学习者隐喻能力与接受性英语水平(包括听力、词汇和阅读理解)之间的关系,量性分析显示二者呈显著正相关关系,但隐喻能力与听力不相关,与阅读理解、词汇则显著相关。在此基础上分析了相关原因,并就隐喻能力培养及教学提出了相应的建议。
After summarizing the research on the metaphorical competence cultivation and its correlation with English sub-skills, this study examines the relationship between metaphorical ability and receptive English proficiency (including listening, vocabulary and reading comprehension) among seniors in English majors, Quantitative analysis showed that there was a significant positive correlation between the two, but metaphorical ability was not related to hearing, and was significantly related to reading comprehension and vocabulary. On this basis, the author analyzes the related reasons and puts forward corresponding suggestions on the cultivation of metaphor and teaching.
