祖庭,是指佛教特指开创各大宗派的祖师即初祖所居住、弘法布道的寺院。中国汉传佛教的八大宗派中,就有六大宗派形成于长安地区,而长安华严寺作为华严宗的祖庭,其历史地位和研究价值都是非常重要的。而如今华严寺的现状与以往寺院规模的辉煌相比萧条荒落,仅剩两古塔饱受沧桑,互相辉映。本文将对长安华严寺的历史沿革与二塔的现状作有调查。
Ancestral home, refers to the Buddhist specifically refers to the founder of the major sects founder or ancestor living, Evangelism of the monastery. The Huanyan Temple in Chang’an, as the ancestor of Huayan Sect, is of great importance both in historical position and in research value. Now the status quo of Huayan Temple compared with the magnificence of the past monastery scale depression, only the two ancient pagodas have suffered vicissitudes, each other. This article will investigate the history of Chang’an Huayan Temple and the status quo of the second tower.
