One time, when a classmate reported good things to the class teacher, one of the things was that a classmate picked up a penny in the class on the podium. The class teacher was disapproving of the matter. In front of the classmate who came to report, he said, “What is a good thing?” I think that the class teacher’s understanding is worth exploring, and even should be denied. There are no small things in school, and education is everywhere. Moreover, we must enable students to develop good habits and moral qualities. They must start from scratch and must start from “small”. As a teacher of the people, do we not understand this truth? I remember Liu Bei’s words when he was the Lord Liu Chan: “Do not be good, not be small, and not be evil”. The ancients still understand this truth. As modern people, are we not as good as the ancients?
