为探讨携带沙门氏菌活蛇可能引起对人群的危害,我们把南宁市防疫站提供从蛇分离出的丙型副伤寒及亚利桑那沙门氏菌,分别与蛇血、蛇胆汁混合后再与不同浓度酒作用一定时间,观察酒对沙门氏菌的抑菌效果;同时取定量沙门氏菌加入各种水源水,了解其在水中存活时间。实验结果表明25度以下的酒与蛇胆15∶1、酒与蛇血5∶1混合,作用5min~20min均无抑菌作用;蛇血与酒1∶1混合,即使是39度的酒作用20min也无抑菌作用。两种菌在各种水源水中存活时间在30d以上。
