用稻草与猪粪以适当配比进行堆腐。结果表明:稻草加猪粪即可制作高温堆肥,不必添加马粪;稻草加猪粪堆腐原料C/N比值以40左右为好,C/N比值过小会增加失氮,过低则影响质量;翻堆效果不明显,春秋两季堆制,经45~60天即能达中度腐熟;老堆肥接种没有显示有利效果;加磷肥有助于保持温度,但堆外覆尼龙膜会阻碍空气对流,不利于升温。堆制过程中碳素损失50%左右,失氮约25%,紧实堆积反而增加失氮。堆肥与草塘泥肥相比,前季稻产量持平,后季稻增产10~20%。
