多元智能理论为大学英语教学改革提供了重要理论依据。以它为基础,对非英语专业大学生实施个性化教学,能够提高其英语自主学习能力。教师必须首先了解多元智能理论体系,并且用多元智能知识来充实自己,以便使它应用于大学英语课堂教学,从而使学生的学习由被动变主动,提高学生英语自主学习能力。
Multiple Intelligences Theory provides an important theoretical basis for college English teaching reform. Based on it, the implementation of personalized teaching to non-English majors can improve their English self-learning ability. Teachers must first understand the theory of multiple intelligences, and use multiple intelligences to enrich themselves, so that it can be applied to college English classroom teaching, so that students learn from passive to active initiative to improve students’ English self-learning ability.
