根据不久前Phillip Townsend Associates公司(PTAI)公布的第9版世界聚丙烯市场需求年度报告,中国对聚丙烯的需求量很快会超过美国,目前美国的聚丙烯的需求量占世界第一位。5年前,中国聚丙烯的需求只占美国聚丙烯需求量的60％,从那时起到现在,这个指标已经达到了95％。该年度报告的预测指出,今后5年中国聚丙烯的需求速度将比美国快2倍,到2007年前,中国对聚丙烯需求量将比美国的需求量多20％。
According to the recent 9th edition of the World Polypropylene Market Demand Annual Report released by Phillip Townsend Associates (PTAI), the demand for polypropylene in China will soon surpass that of the United States. At present, the demand for polypropylene in the United States is the highest in the world. Five years ago, the demand for polypropylene in China accounted for only 60% of the demand for polypropylene in the United States. Since then, this indicator has reached 95%. The annual report predicts that in the next five years, demand for polypropylene in China will be twice as fast as in the United States. By 2007, China will need about 20% more polypropylene than the United States.
