自主学习由Henry Holec引自教育哲学范畴,指的是学习者对自己学习负责的一种能力,而“多模态”则强调的是学习者感官与学习资源之间的互动方式。随着网络和信息技术等现代教育技术的快速发展,网络环境下的多模态自主学习模式的规模化已成为教育领域的必然发展趋势,也成为教育学界的研究热点。基于认知视角对多模态自主学习模式进行构建,可以为外语教学实践和相关研究提供认知理据。
Self-directed learning is introduced by Henry Holec from the educational philosophy category, referring to the learners’ ability to take responsibility for their own learning, and “multimodality” emphasizes the interaction between the learner’s senses and learning resources. With the rapid development of modern educational technology such as network and information technology, the scale of multi-modal self-study mode under the network environment has become an inevitable trend in the field of education, and has become a research hotspot in education. Building a multi-modal self-learning model based on a cognitive perspective can provide cognitive motivation for foreign language teaching practice and related research.
