江南文化具有鲜明的柔性特征,并对江南作家的柔性艺术风格的生成产生了深远的影响。现代江南作家以江南文化诗性———审美品格的艺术方式,展现出了蛰伏在现代人的心灵深处的那种诗性本体,那种柔美的理想主义情怀。他们把青春的苦闷和对理想的企盼、对生命意义的追寻,紧紧地糅合在一起,既与中国古典美学所致力追求的和谐美的理想相契合,又与“五四”新文化所提出的时代审美诉求相对应,从而能够以自身独特的文化审美理想,为中国新文学(现代文学)发展作出独特的历史贡献。
Jiangnan culture has distinctive flexible features and exerted a far-reaching influence on the generation of Jiangnan writers’ flexible artistic style. Modern Jiangnan writers, with the poetic nature of Jiangnan culture --- the artistic way of aesthetic character, show the kind of poetic body dormant in the depths of modern people and the kind of soft idealism sentiment. They combine the pain of youth with the hope of ideal and the pursuit of the meaning of life closely to both the ideal of harmony and beauty that China’s classical aesthetics pursues and the idea of “new culture of May Fourth Movement” So as to be able to make unique historical contribution to the development of Chinese new literature (modern literature) with its unique cultural aesthetic ideal.
