数学是对学生未来生活和工作非常重要的一门基础学科。而初中又是学生学习数学的一个承上启下的阶段。在这个阶段不仅需要学生掌握一定的数学知识,还需要学生掌握自主学习的思维和方法,提高学生学习数学的兴趣。而传统初中数学的教学模式中,教师的角色定位、教材及教学方法都与新时期的教学特点有很大的矛盾和差异,因此必须辩证地审视原有的教学模式,对原有的教学模式进行优化和补充。在此基础上,对教师角色定位、教材及教学方法进行分析和探讨是十分必要的。
