The asymmetric hydrosilation reaction of 2 - aminoaromatic ketone with Rh () - chiral 2 - (2 - pyridyl) -4 - carboxymethyl - 1, 3 - thiazolidine as catalyst was reported. The yield of 2 - amino - 1 - aryl ethanol can reach almost quantitatively, and the optical purity of the product can reach over 80% ee
