为纪念毛泽东诞辰110周年,缅怀一代伟人的丰功伟绩,激励后人继往开来,与时俱进,再创中华民族的伟大复兴和建设有中国特色社会主义的辉煌事业,中共长沙市委宣传部、长沙市文学艺术界联合会、长沙市音乐家协会共同策划组织了《青年毛泽东在长沙》大型声乐套曲的创作。从2002年4月开始,先后组织了三次创作笔会,中共长沙市委副书记、市长谭仲池也亲自参与了歌词创作。历时一年多,经过反复加工修改,数易其稿,这部宏篇巨制现已定稿。
To commemorate the 110th anniversary of Mao Zedong’s birth, cherish the great achievements of a generation of great people, inspire generations to come, keep pace with the times, recreate the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and build a brilliant career of socialism with Chinese characteristics. Propaganda Department of Changsha CPC Committee, Changsha City Literature Art Federation, Changsha City Musicians Association co-organized the “Youth Mao Zedong in Changsha” large-scale vocal sets of writing. Since April 2002, it has organized three writing pens successively, and Tan Zhongchi, deputy secretary and mayor of the CPC Changsha Municipal CPC Committee, personally participated in the lyrics creation. It lasted more than a year, after repeated processing and modification, a few easy to draft, this macro article has been finalized.
