Stealth (to avoid being detected by radar) is considered as one of the key military technologies of the 1980s, and a great deal of defense funding has been invested in this area. The reason why stealth continues to be used to broadly cover mediators is partly because of the notion of “invisible” arousing people’s hypothetical interest and in addition to the fact that the application of this technique often leads to very compelling designs. In terms of the level of confidentiality, this area is usually highly confidential.
