The new reagent p-NPAQ forms a red complex with copper (Ⅱ) in NaHCO 3 Na 2 CO 3 buffer solution with pH = 10.0 in the presence of Tween-80 with the composition ratio of Cu (Ⅱ): pNPAQ = 1: 4. The maximum absorption At 614 nm, the molar absorptivity was 4.1 × 10 ~ 4L.mol -1 cm -1 .The Beer’s law was obeyed in the range of 0 ~ 11.6μg / 10mL for copper (Ⅱ).
