As China gradually enters the population aging and economic globalization society, the health issue has also become a hot issue that people generally pay attention to. Based on the concept, characteristics and efficacy of horticultural therapy, this paper summarizes the status quo of landscape design of urban parks in our country and puts forward some strategies for setting up urban parks with horticultural therapy with Chinese characteristics. Urban landscape in our country there is a common low public participation, the lack of particularities and other issues coupled with the aging population, sub-health state and other social issues emerge in an endless stream. As a result, increasing the horticultural landscape in urban parks is the key to landscape design in contemporary urban parks. Horticultural Therapy
