活塞环开口处外圆不在同一弧面上的高低现象,在我厂颇为普遍。从直径52毫米至直径180毫米的活塞环,不管是平环还是油环或不同形状环,几乎都不同程度的存在着这种不良疵病。(编者注:该厂系正圆桶体毛坯) 一片开口有高低的成品环,装缸后在内燃机的往复运动中高端和低端磨损不一,高端磨损大,低端磨损较小。一片经热定型后开口有高低的半成品环,常常会在以后的再加工时出现径向厚薄不一,造成报废。我们在分析一定的数量因开口漏光的废品环中,发现其54.4%是因开口有高低造成的。但这种现象,目前并未得到应有的重视。 为什么会产生开口有高低呢?一般往往以为是热定型时造成的。其实正确的热定型工艺决不会造成开口高低的。 其主要原因是塞铁不合理:我厂用直方柱塞铁,其横截面是长方形。按要求,装环后环心与塞铁横截面的中心线NM应相重合(图1)。实际上这是很难做到的。因
