近年来互联网应用向协作性、多媒体方面演变。以视频为主进行网络融合是大势所趋。视频在过去几年中,已经成为互联网流量增长最快的业务,主动获取或上传视频,直播或点播视频的发生频率直线上升。而音视频应用增多的同时,对内容和平台提供商在带宽、存储等方面带来了很大的成本压力以及服务能力瓶颈。CDN技术和P2P技术各有所长,且其差异具有一定的互补性。本文通过对CDN技术和P2P技术的优缺点进行介绍,并结合CDN技术在视频加速方面的应用提出广电在推进全国一网建设和三网融合的进程中,如果能够结合P2P的扩展能力、服务效率和CDN的可靠性、可管理性,就可以构建一个能够承载电信级内容应用的流媒体内容分发平台。
