莲作为食用或观赏植物在日本、中国、印度等东南亚国家均有栽培,对于莲的病害以前只知有菌类病害,而无病毒病的报道。日本冈山市藤田地区1975年前后在莲的地下茎(藕)上常发生褐色条斑病害。一般将藕掘出后经脱色处理后才运出,而该处理后条斑部却更加明显,其商品价值显著降低。对该病经用电镜观察后,发现了未记载的弹状病毒(rhabdovirus),对该病毒称为莲条斑病毒(lotus streakvirus,LSV)、对病名称为莲条斑病(streak)作了报道。
Lin as edible or ornamental plants in Japan, China, India and other Southeast Asian countries have cultivated, for the lotus disease previously only known to have fungal diseases, but no virus disease reports. Japan Okayama Fujita area before and after 1975 in lotus underground stems (lotus root) often brown streak disease. The lotus roots are generally excavated and then shipped out after decolorization treatment, while the treatment of streaky parts is more obvious, the value of their products is significantly reduced. An electron microscope observation of the disease revealed an undocumented rhabdovirus. The virus was called lotus streakvirus (LSV), and the disease name was streak Reported.
