Businesses in the United States are increasingly using wireless CRM applications, but the slow transmission rate of wireless networks and the dependence of some applications on the C / S platform will temporarily hinder the widespread implementation of these applications. PeopleSoft unveiled its Mobile Sales for WAP software at the end of March, which allows field sales representatives to access corporate information over wireless application protocol phones. Through this application, sales representatives can use Openwave System’s micro-browser to view and update information about companies, contracts, tasks, milestones and opportunities.
