我所在的学校是中小学义务教育九年一贯制学校,我在1997-2001年、2001-2005年、2005年至今的三轮英语循环教学中,都赶上本地区更换新教材,有幸成为新课程改革的前沿实践者。我一直担任初中英语教师、初中备课组长、中小学英语教研组长,从2003年起还兼任小学六年级英语教师,因此对小学英语教学的现状以及中小学英语教学衔接等问题颇有感受。我的学生从2001年9月到2005年6月经历了四年小学英语的学习,在教学过程中遇到的困难和问题不得不引起我对小学英语教学的担忧和反思。

The difficulties and problems encountered in teaching have caused my concerns and reflections on English teaching in primary schools.
