毛泽东在《湖南农民运动考察报告》一文中已有关于农村文化反向认同的论述。当前我国农村文化的反向认同现象对我国统筹城乡发展、建设社会主义新农村带来一定程度的负面影响。在坚持原则性和灵活性相统一的前提下，立足乡村特点，依靠农民，克服“庸俗生产力论”的错误影响，才能有效消除农村文化反向认同现象。
