流感病毒基因组为分节段单股负链RNA。反向遗传技术是通过克隆感染性cDNA拯救出病毒的新兴技术,常用来研究流感病毒的基因结构和功能,研制流感疫苗。本文对流感病毒反向遗传技术的发展概况及其在研究跨种属传播、研制流感疫苗、研究基因结构和功能方面进行综述。
The influenza virus genome is a segmented single-stranded minus-strand RNA. Reverse genetic technology is an emerging technology to rescue viruses by cloning infectious cDNAs and is often used to study the gene structure and function of influenza viruses and to develop flu vaccines. This article summarizes the development of reverse genetics of influenza virus and its research on cross-species transmission, development of influenza vaccine, research of gene structure and function.
