Objective To explore the clinical value of humanized nursing for urological patients and to provide relevant references for improving the quality of urological nursing. Methods Totally 90 urology patients admitted to our hospital from January 2016 to December 2016 were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into observation group and control group with 45 cases in each group. The control group patients received routine nursing The patients in the observation group were treated with the humanized nursing model based on the routine nursing mode. The complication, satisfaction with the nursing work and mental health status were compared between the two groups. Results The complication rate was 4.44% (2/45) in the observation group and 24.44% (11/45) in the control group. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P <0.05) The satisfaction rate of nursing care was 97.78% (44/45) in the group and 80.00% (36/45) in the control group. There was significant difference between the two groups (P <0.05). In the mental health status The anxiety and depression of the two groups were significantly reduced compared with that before nursing. The anxiety and depression of the observation group were more obviously improved, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusions The application of humanized nursing model in urology nursing can significantly reduce the incidence of complications in patients, improve the patients’ bad psychological status and improve the patient’s satisfaction with nursing. It is worth popularizing and applying in clinical nursing.
