Ten mandibles were taken and divided into two halves along the median line. Each half was divided into 12 segments to observe the internal structure of the bone. The vernier calipers were used to determine the height and width of each section and the thickness of buccal, lingual and inferior margin cilia. Take pictures (?) And then use the image analyzer to obtain the area of each cross-section and the percentage of bone mass in each cross-section.
