每年农历五月初五,是中国传统节日——端午节,故端午节又称端五节、端阳节、重午节。在这一天,中华大地不论天南地北,人们都按传统的习俗,用粽叶包粽子,用白酒加雄黄相饮,采集艾叶菖蒲插于门头,还要举行规模盛大的龙舟竞赛。赛龙舟每逢端午节时,我国南方各地都有赛龙舟的习俗。
