作为“西方19世纪精神教父”的神学家施莱尔马赫,不仅把神学推向了现代,使之具有了“现代性”,而且他的美学也是作为解决现代性的精神困境而提出来的,作为现代性的哲学话语的美学表达,他把美学定向为在“伦理学中探寻艺术活动的规律”,也即在人类文化的自由创造领域领悟艺术活动的地位,首次确立了美学研究的文化视野。艺术的自由创造并非只是为了创造“同一性”,而是表现为民族的差异性;艺术品表达的是事物的“内在形象”,艺术的真实性也需从“内在形象”上去把握,艺术家的灵感和沉思是“睁着眼的梦境”,这些都堪称西方美学上的新创见。
Schleiermacher, the theologian of the “Western spiritual godfather of the 19th century,” not only pushed theology to modernity and made it “modernity”, but also his aesthetics was put forward as a spiritual predicament to solve modernity. The free creation of art is not just for the purpose of creating “identity” but of national differences. The works of art express the “inner image” of things, and the authenticity of art also needs to be grasped from the “inner image”. The artist’s Inspiration and contemplation are “open-minded dreams,” all of which are called new ideas in Western aesthetics.
